Hey there!

I'm Stephanie, and I want to help you fall in love with writing.

I have been a writer my entire life.

I have spent the last decade of my career writing—leading PR campaigns built on messaging and helping people find the right words.

I was the oddball who loved writing papers even in middle school, and I honed my chops studying English, creative writing, and journalism in college. I’ve edited and written for dozens of magazines since then.

What I love is empowering you with a skill that has brought me so much joy.

Whether you want to write memoir, fiction, or marketing content, good writing is the same.

Once you get comfortable with the basics, you can write anything.

You may be wondering…

When are the workshops?

The workshops will be held on Sundays from 2-4 p.m. Central time on January 29, February 5, February 12, February 19, and February 26. Access to the course includes access to all five workshops.

How are the workshops structured?

Each workshop will be held via Zoom, and each workshop will be 1-2 hours long with 20-30 minutes of instruction from me and 30-60 minutes of Q&A.

What if I can't make it to the live workshops?

No problem at all! All workshops will be recorded, and replays will be emailed to all workshop participants within a few days of each session.

How long will I have access to the course?

You will have access to the course content for one year. During that time, you will have the opportunity to download the videos for lifetime access. If you choose not to download or save the videos, your access to the course content will end at the beginning of March 2024.

Will I be able to ask questions and/or get feedback on my work?

Yes! Each week, you will have the opportunity to submit questions in advance and/or ask questions live during the workshops. You will also be able to share your work for feedback from me and the rest of the group.

I'm nervous about sharing my writing. Do I have to share it?

I totally understand feeling nervous, and sharing your writing with me or the group is not required. However, once we get started and get to know each other, I think you’ll want to share. Any feedback or suggestions will be shared kindly and gently, and getting feedback is a great way to build confidence and learn.

Do I need to have a specific writing idea or project in mind before starting the course?

Not at all! The workshops will teach you the basics of good writing, as well as how to gather inspiration and ideas, so you’ll be ready to start any writing project whenever you get ready, during or after the course.

I still have questions. How do I contact you?

Email me at hello@stephaniekirklandart.com, and I’ll get back to you!

I'm excited! What are the next steps?

Yay! I’m excited for you! The next step is to secure your spot by signing up and completing the checkout process. Make sure you use a good email address when checking out, as that will be my primary way of contacting you.

Then, watch your inbox for more information and extra encouragement around mid-January!
