These paintings have lovingly hung on my own walls for several years now. When I look at these early paintings, I see the excitement I felt at the beginning of my journey three years ago. I see freshness. I see an overflowing of joy. I see the bright side of life and radiant optimism.

Long Hot Summer is inspired by hot summer days that give way to warm summer evenings—kids playing tag, moms watering plants, fiery sunsets enjoyed by the taste of homemade popsicles and the buzz of cicadas.
