I’ve been ruminating on the inspiration for this custom painting—warm and refreshing like a hike. Specifically, this painting will be inspired by my client’s favorite hiking destination and the feeling you get when you come to a clearing.

The exhale. The release of tension. The feeling that the world isn’t so bad after all.⁣

We settled on something warm and autumnal with energetic brushstrokes and contrasting colors mimicking effects of light.
